The sun represents eternity, and it´s a symbol of power and joy, often venerated by many cultures as a deity.

The eagle too dominates the sky, and symbolizes strength and freedom. Some of the eagle´s feathers are shaped after the indian bud which symbolizes joy and rebirth in Mehendi designs.
