From bottom to top, it represents how, with strength, determination and protection, he´ll go through every change safely till reaching joy and success, with family and any activity...
From top, the sun represents success and joy, and encloses a shark and a turtle (the shark is for adaptability and strength, always needed in every activity, and the turtle symbolizes family). Inside the turtle the double spiral is a symbol of eternity whilst the sun on the shark´s back encloses a tiki´s eye, which is a symbol of protection.
The head of the shark is made of a mangopare motif (hammerhead shark, which symbolizes determination and tenacity), and the same motif appears also above the great tiki´s head over the Celtic band, between the two triskells. Triskells themselves are symbols of eternity and balance from Celtic traditions (they are believed to symbolize the cycle of birth, death and rebirth, and balance of sky, earth and sea), and ideally link the new sleeve to the old armband.
The tiki is a symbol of protection, a guarding god, and there are also some tiki´s hands on the lower armband.
Korus symbolize new life and fish hooks are for prosperity and status.
The bands going round the arm have spearheads, representing the warrior, strength and courage, and waves, which are symbols of stability through change.
A curiosity: it is believed sometimes that a complete armband could cut the flow of energy, or mana, so we always suggest to avoid closing them, always leaving a break in every band going all round the arm.
