This tattoo requested by Dario is a homage to Sicily.
Its shape stems from the triskell, symbolizing eternity and union of sky, land and sea; it also recalls the shape of the trinacria symbol.

Main elements are the waves, which embody the idea of eternal returning with their eternal succession.

One wave becomes a double spiral (union, matching and eternity) incorporating a braid motif symbolizing family, in the center and related to the concept of eternity too (the surrounding sun, made of shark teeth).
A second waves encloses a bass clef to recall music while the last arm is shaped by a sea shell: love, safe shelter and prosperity.
