Main elements are a turtle and a hammerhead shark embracing each other to symbolize Jacob´s family and the warrior protecting it with tenacity and determination.

The turtle has a few elements on its shell: the symbol for marriage to symbolize the union with his wife and an ipu (it gets usually coupled with a second one which remains here invisible on the hidden side of the shell) to symbolize descent, children. Below them, towards the bottom of the shell, the braid symbolizes family union whilst the two chasing birds on the upper part of the shell represent help that will always be granted to the dear ones, despite any difficulty (the opposing waves) and thanks to tenacity and adaptability (the octopus tentacle on the shell, next to the hammerhead shark).

The front flipper is shaped by a tiki for protection towards future trials.

The hammerhead shark symbolizes tenacity, determination and strength and it protects and supports the turtle in its journey through life towards success (the tail made of waves for change leads to a sun for positivity and success).
The mere in its head is a symbol of chiefs symbolizing honour, courage and status.

The manta inside the sun symbolizes freedom and beauty and the motif around it represents the ancestors guarding on it.

The spear heads along the shark are symbols of the warrior (and so is the centipede next to the row of fish); other elements we used are the coconut leaves (chief, respect, prosperity), fish and fish hook (prosperity), spirals (eternity, life).

The moray eel stands for difficulties in the past (on the back of the arm) and it is kept at bay and guarded by shark teeth (adaptability and strength) and by an all-seeing eye (protection form evil and from enemies).
