In this design of Africa the dolphin represents friendship and wisdom, and the korus on the inside indicate a rebirth which led to a new blooming (tiare and frangipani flowers symbolizing beauty and femininity) and to freedom (the manta) thought as a new beginning (korus). The sun marked by shark teeth (adaptability and strength) symbolizes eternity and joy, the waves symbolize this change and the hammerhead shark motif at the base symbolizes the determination and tenacity at the base of all this.
